POSITION INFO:
Minimum Requirements: Matric (preferably with Mathematics) Tertiary qualification - Degree or Diploma in Business, Finance, or a related field will be beneficial 3 to 4 Years' experience in a similar role Proficient in Microsoft Excel (superuser level) with query writing Create complex Excel worksheets and automate Excel workbooks Understand and use cross multiplication as well as perform complex calculations Able to interpret and understand technical drawings for costing purposes Able to understand and translate bill of material for costing purpose Technical/mechanical knowledge advantageous Experience working with Infor Visual advantageous Flexibility to work additional hours when necessary to meet deadlines Responsibilities: Update at least one catalogue costing sheet on a daily basis Retrieve drawings from the Drawing Office folder to re-evaluate sheet metal costs across the entire product range Validate and revise all coil codes related to the respective range to ensure accuracy in coil prices Daily update and maintain weighted averages by capturing new orders from Visual purchase history Conduct random cross-checks to verify accuracy Assist with updating Excel costing tools for complex calculations upon request Regularly maintain and monitor price fluctuations Calculate crating and sheet metal costs for the HVAC Department Provide analytical support to sales Ensure reports are up to date for sales meetings Implement automation in Excel workbooks to enhance efficiency in processes Assist with special projects upon requests Regularly clean, run, and update the sales folder to ensure that prices are consistently current for accurate quoting Provide assistance to the Costing Manager by responding to all costing requests via email and addressing various managerial enquiries TO APPLY: Only if you meet the minimum job requirements and experience as mentioned above, you may submit a detailed updated CV.
