Junior Bookkeeper

SUMMARY:
Our well-known client within the Fast Food Franchising Sector, based in Centurion, is looking for a Junior Bookkeeper to join their team!

POSITION INFO:
Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) Tertiary qualification: Certificate, Diploma or degree in financial management. 2 - 4 years of commercial bookkeeping experience. Must have experience taking books up to trial balance. Experience in a multi-store franchise, or retail environment is strongly preferred. System knowledge: Sage Evolution Intermediate Excel and Google sheets Key Responsibilities: Full function Bookkeeping to trial balance (Portfolio of 6-11 stores). Compile, verify and process monthly journals and invoicing across all revenue streams (Cahs, credit and, Online, Mr D and Uber Eats). Import bank statements into cashbooks and perform weekly ban reconciliations against Sage Evolution. Process stock journals, call account entries, salary allocations, depreciation, and bookkeeping service fee invoices.
