POSITION INFO:
Qualifications: Grade 12 essential Relevant IT certifications advantageous Additional hardware repair certifications beneficial Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience in laptop repairs and hardware troubleshooting Practical experience diagnosing and repairing laptop hardware faults Knowledge of Windows installations, updates, patching and software troubleshooting Experience replacing batteries, screens, keyboards, RAM, SSDs and charging ports Knowledge of Intel and AMD hardware environments Ability to diagnose motherboard and internal hardware faults Valid driver's licence essential Willingness to travel when required Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage repair workloads efficiently KPA's: Diagnose and repair laptop hardware and software issues Replace faulty batteries, screens, keyboards, RAM, SSDs and other components Troubleshoot charging, startup, booting and performance-related problems Install and configure Windows operating systems and software applications Perform software patching, updates and driver installations Conduct preventative maintenance and hardware diagnostic testing Test devices after repairs to ensure functionality and quality standards Maintain accurate repair records and documentation Perform laptop cleaning and hardware maintenance procedures Ensure repaired devices are returned in optimal working condition Apply now!
