Inventory Manager

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate, real-time inventory records across warehouses and storage sites. Reconcile system inventory against physical stock and investigate discrepancies. Plan and manage regular cycle counts and full stock takes. Work closely with Procurement, Logistics and Sales to plan stock requirements around seasonal planting and spray cycles. Monitor stock levels to minimise overstocking, ageing and products reaching expiry. Manage back-orders by client and product. Manage and control delivery notes. Ensure inventory and related data on the ERP system remains accurate and up to date. Maintain accurate batch and product traceability records. Ensure hazardous chemical products are correctly stored, segregated and labelled in accordance with applicable requirements. Investigate stock losses, damages and shrinkage and implement appropriate controls. Maintain and administer the inventory management system, including data integrity, access and reporting. Prepare weekly inventory reports covering stock levels, accuracy, ageing, slow-moving stock and relevant KPIs. Support internal and external inventory audits and assist with resolving findings. Perform other inventory-related responsibilities as required. Requirements Minimum 3 years' relevant inventory or stock management experience . Fully bilingual in Afrikaans and English . Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to stock and data accuracy. Good administrative, numerical and organisational skills. Comfortable working with inventory and ERP systems. Sage X3 experience advantageous. Previous experience within the agricultural, crop protection, chemical or related industry advantageous. Financial knowledge or experience advantageous , particularly where relevant to stock values, reconciliations and inventory controls. Good understanding of stock takes, reconciliations, stock ageing and inventory controls. Ability to work effectively within a small, collaborative team.
