Internship Programme 2027: Human Resources

Optimi is looking for a motivated, hardworking graduate to join our Internship Programme. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, professional, and interested in gaining practical experience across various Human Resources functions. This opportunity will also entail completing an accredited qualification over the period of 12 months.

• Grade 12.
• Degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology or a related field.
• Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must not have previously participated in an internship programme.

• Assist with payroll preparation, leave administration and employee data capturing.
• Maintain employee records and support HR administrative processes.
• Assist with responding to employee payroll and HR-related queries.
• Provide administrative support for disciplinary hearings, grievances and consultations.
• Support the review and maintenance of HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with employee engagement and wellness initiatives.
• Assist with placing job advertisements and screening applications.
• Coordinate interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Assist with reference checks and recruitment administration.
• Support onboarding and orientation activities for new employees.
• Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources team.

This position is based in Centurion.
