POSITION INFO:
The Opportunity In this role, you will use your technical sales skills to step up into a stable team. You will receive excellent product support and practical training to help expand your industrial knowledge. Your daily efforts will keep operations smooth while ensuring customers receive prompt, helpful service every day. Job Description Welcome walk-in trade counter clients and handle incoming customer telephone calls daily. Prepare, calculate, and send out accurate price quotations quickly for industrial buyers. Give helpful advice to customers on welding machines, torch consumables, and gas accessories. Recommend additional products like grinding discs, welding wire, and safety gear to buyers. Work closely with warehouse and dispatch staff to get customer orders packed promptly. Keep buyers updated on stock delivery times and resolve any billing questions smoothly. Maintain an organized, well-stocked, and friendly sales counter area for all visiting customers. What You Need to Apply Grade 12 Senior Certificate or equivalent qualification. Proven inside sales or counter sales experience within welding or industrial supplies. Practical knowledge of welding equipment, cutting gear, gas, and workshop safety products. Experience dealing comfortably with artisans, workshop foremen, and engineering purchasing buyers. Good computer skills with experience using ERP systems like Syspro, Pastel, or SAP. Reliable follow-up skills to help close open quotes and build steady business relationships. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a reliable team-player work ethic.
