Internal Sales

SUMMARY:
A leading South African wholesale distributor and supplier specialising in domestic appliance spare parts, commercial refrigeration, HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning), and solar energy solutions is seeking to appoint an Internal Sales Representative at its Rustenburg branch.

POSITION INFO:
An Internal salesperson plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. Responsibilities: Promptly assist customers at the counter. Relay to customers with any relevant policies or procedures regarding purchases, returns, credit terms, etc. Data entry and retrieval on computer system, including entering of customer orders, retrieving inventory information, pricing, etc. Producing the necessary documentation related to customer orders. Receive payment or obtain credit information. Answering telephones, assisting customers and taking orders. Reporting back orders and/or stock discrepancies Keep abreast of new product information and upcoming product promotions. Responsible for cash transactions handled at the branch in terms of over-the-counter sales payments. Participate in periodic physical stock takes. Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed (straightening, clean counter area, displays, etc.) Assist with deliveries as and when required. Compliance with relevant EH&S/SHEQ obligations. Responsible for World class customer service and Client Retention. Any other tasks given by Management Job Requirements: Qualification/s needed: Compulsory: Matric or NQF Level 4 Equivalent Can be qualified by experience Driver's license (Code 08) Computer Packages / In house systems: Syspro. Experience and Skills needed: 2 to 5 years sales experience Good PC skills and experience using Microsoft Experience in appliances sales Experience in HVAC sales Experience in commercial refrigeration sales
