Internal Sales Representative (Manufacturing Steel & Tube)

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a sales-driven Internal Sales Representative with strong product knowledge and experience in the Steel & Tube and Sheet & Plate industry.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Handle customer enquiries, calls and complaints. Prepare quotations, follow up on quotes and convert enquiries into sales. Process sales orders on Syspro and source stock from approved suppliers. Monitor back orders and expedite deliveries. Maintain customer pricing and discount structures. Liaise with warehouse staff and external sales representatives. Identify sales opportunities and provide leads to the external sales team. Manage customer credits in accordance with company procedures. Assist with customer visits, general administration and branch stocktakes. Minimum Requirements: At least 3 years experience in the Steel & Tube industry , preferably in sales. Knowledge and experience of Steel & Tube and Sheet & Plate products is essential. Strong customer service, communication and sales skills. Confident, proactive and target-driven personality. Syspro experience will be an advantage. Must reside in Cape Town or surrounding areas. Relocation candidates will not be considered.
