INTERNAL SALES / ORDERS CONSULTANT

Hire Resolve's client is seeking an organized, customer-focused Internal Sales / Orders Consultant to join their team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have experience in internal sales, order processing and customer liaison, preferably within the industrial products, cement, concrete or building materials industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle customer enquiries and maintain professional customer relationships.

• Prepare quotations, assist with product pricing and follow up on outstanding quotes.

• Capture and process customer orders accurately.

• Coordinate order scheduling and delivery requirements.

• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal operational teams to ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.

• Address customer queries and resolve order-related issues.

• Assist with dispatch coordination and communicate delivery schedules where required.

• Maintain accurate sales and order administration records.

• Grade 12 / Matric is essential.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in internal sales, customer liaison, sales administration, order processing or an orders and scheduling environment.

• Industrial sales or industrial products experience is strongly preferred, particularly within cement, concrete, construction materials or related industries.

• Experience preparing quotations, pricing products, processing orders and coordinating deliveries.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word.

• Excellent organisational, time-management and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.

• Willingness to work irregular or extended hours when required.

• A relevant tertiary qualification or qualification in concrete technology will be advantageous.

• Experience with dispatch coordination, truck mixer scheduling, concrete batch plants or transport coordination will be beneficial.
