The work focuses on scoping problems, analysing data, designing solutions, and preparing everything required for development. The Role: Industrial Engineer: Product and Solution Design This role exists within a product team to take clients from an operational problem to a solution ready to be built. You will work in a multidisciplinary team of engineers and software developers, splitting your time between client engagement, analysis, design, and documentation. Your discipline will shape your focus, contributing to electrical, instrumentation, and control elements, or process improvement, scoping, and business cases. Key Responsibilities Work with clients to understand operations, identify problems, and turn them into practical solutions with clear scope, cost, and value. Help take ideas from problem definition through concept design to detailed specifications, including user flows, mockups, and prototypes. Analyse client operational and business data to find patterns, problems, and improvement opportunities, and present findings clearly. Help specify and design required hardware and equipment, including component selection and cost estimates. Prepare client-ready reports, design documents, proposals, and presentations. Hand over clear, complete specifications to developers and support them during the build. About You A degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering. Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Programming or data analysis experience (e.g. Python). Clear written and verbal communication. Willingness to travel to client sites. Exposure to industrial environments. Experience with design, CAD, or prototyping tools.
