Position Purpose
To establish and refine HR protocols, policies, and initiatives that support operational management goals and drive business value.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
2. 5 to 7 years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Officer experience; professional HR certifications are highly advantageous.
3. Demonstrated expertise in South African labour legislation, specifically the BCEA, LRA, EEA, and SDA.
4. Hands-on proficiency with VIP Payroll and modern HRIS/database systems.
5. Results-driven approach with a proven track record of fostering strong, people-centric workplace cultures.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience: Recruitment & Selection: Oversee full-cycle recruitment and employee onboarding programs. Total Rewards: Manage remuneration, benefits administration, and related portfolios. Employment Equity (EE): Coordinate and facilitate EE meetings, tracking objectives and ensuring organizational compliance. HR Analytics & Board Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate, data-driven reports and board packs within required timeframes. Data Integrity & Statutory Submissions: Ensure all departmental metrics, surveys, and statutory statistics are accurate, updated, and submitted on time. Learning & Development: Coordinate learnership frameworks and facilitate training initiatives for learners. Performance Excellence: Standardize and drive the performance management and annual review processes. Strategic HR Initiatives: Apply company policies, coordinate HR projects, and implement operational directives. Internal Communications: Establish and maintain professional, collaborative relationships across all levels of the company. Compliance & Best Practices: Maintain a deep understanding of labor law to ensure all policies align with current legislative frameworks.
