MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- The HSE Graduate is responsible for guiding management regarding HSE processes and requirements to ensure legal compliance per legislation and the application of the Group’s HSE policy and procedures.
- The main missions will be to gain development and learning on the following:
- Conduct internal HSE measurements, inspections, and audits to analyse the site’s risks and bring solutions to improve the working conditions; the level of industrial safety; and respect for the environment.
- Propose and annual HSE action plan to the Site Management.
- Coach and support the plant management and deploy in HSE practices and requirements.
- Participate in Faurecia’s HSE network and deploy all HSE Standards within the organization.
- Monitor and ensure implementation of legal compliance and manage the site’s relations with local government and regulatory organizations.
- Monitor the reporting of HSE indicators (e.g. FR0t (Lost Time Injuries), environmental data).
- Organise and drive HSE audits and trainings.
- Perform accident/incident investigations.
- Contribute to ergonomics improvement programmes by participating in workstation assessments, ergonomic risk evaluations, and the implementation of actions aimed at reducing musculoskeletal injury risks and improving employee wellbeing.
- Support machine safety initiatives through participation in machine risk assessments, safeguarding reviews, lockout/tagout (LOTO) programme deployment, and verification of compliance with machine safety standards and requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
The ideal graduate will have/be:
- NDiploma/B- Tech / BEng in Industrial Engineering or Health, Safety & Environment.
- Knowledge and experience in auomotive environment.
- Knowledge of HSE tools and methods: 5 why methodology, job instruction, audits, ISO 14001, ISO 45001.
- Knowledge of legal requirements.
- Competency in MS Office: (Excel & Word).
- Eligible for Y.E.S Youth Program.
