POSITION INFO:
We are looking for dynamic HR professionals who can provide strategic and operational HR leadership, support business objectives and drive effective people management practices within a multinational, technical and operational environment. Location-Specific Requirements Kitwe, Zambia: Sound knowledge of Zambian labour legislation and employment practices and fluency in local languages.. Key Responsibilities Lead and implement HR strategies, policies and procedures aligned with business objectives. Provide strategic HR guidance and support to senior management and operational teams. Manage the full HR function, including recruitment, talent management, performance management and employee development. Oversee employee relations, disciplinary processes, grievance handling and labour-related matters. Ensure compliance with local labour legislation and statutory requirements. Drive workforce planning, succession planning and organisational development initiatives. Manage compensation, benefits, payroll coordination and HR administration. Identify training needs and promote employee engagement, development and retention. Support organisational change and build a positive, high-performance workplace culture. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum 5–8 years' relevant HR experience, preferably in a senior HR generalist or management role. Strong knowledge of local labour legislation and employment practices. Demonstrated experience in employee relations, workforce planning, recruitment and talent management. Experience working within a multinational, industrial, mining or technical services environment would be advantageous. Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in MS Office and HR management systems. The Ideal Candidate Will be a hands-on, commercially aware HR professional with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. Experience managing multicultural workforces and supporting technical or mining-related operations will be a distinct advantage.
