Renders effective, efficient and safe hygiene in wards. Serving of meals and refreshment.
Handling and removal of waste. Support to Supervisor. Effective utilization of resources.
Requirements
Minimum educational qualification: Basic literacy and numeracy.
Experience: Appropriate / recognisable experience in cleaning, linen management and handling of food.
Inherent requirements of the job: Ability to lift/move heavy equipment and supplies. Render a shift service on weekends, public holidays, day and night and duties and rotate in different departments according to operational needs and requirements.
Competencies (knowledge/skills): Incumbent must have the ability to mix cleaning fluids, count and calculate linen supply. Read diet lists. Good planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
