Head Of Manufacturing

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced Head of Manufacturing & Production to lead manufacturing operations, improve production efficiency and ensure quality, safety and delivery targets are achieved within an established industrial manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead manufacturing operations across fabrication, machining, assembly and finishing.

• Manage production planning, scheduling and capacity to meet customer deadlines.

• Monitor production performance, identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

• Drive continuous improvement, productivity, quality and waste reduction initiatives.

• Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, Procurement and Logistics to ensure efficient operations.

• Ensure materials, machinery, drawings and labour are available for production.

• Lead, develop and manage factory managers, supervisors, artisans and production teams.

• Maintain operational procedures, policies, quality standards and health and safety compliance.

• Resolve production challenges and implement practical, commercially sound solutions.

• Minimum N5 tertiary qualification.

• Proven experience in a senior production, manufacturing or factory management role.

• Strong experience in manufacturing and metal fabrication environments.

• Demonstrated expertise in production planning, scheduling and capacity management.

• Experience managing complex production environments with multiple projects and competing deadlines.

• Strong technical knowledge, leadership, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making abilities.

• Strong accountability, commercial awareness and a continuous improvement mindset
