POSITION INFO:
Ready to shape the financial future of a fast-growing multinational group? We're looking for a strategic finance leader to drive profitability, control and growth across multiple countries and joint ventures. Why join this team? This is a senior leadership role at the heart of a division that's expanding into new regions. You'll be the trusted financial voice for divisional leadership. You'll influence decisions on new markets, partnerships and investments. You'll also build the systems, controls and teams that make growth sustainable. What you will be doing: Developing and delivering the division's financial strategy to support business plans and regional expansion Advising divisional leadership on profitability, cash generation, investment and financial risk Monitoring performance by country, legal entity, joint venture, client and project Identifying underperforming activities and agreeing corrective actions with operations Assessing the financial viability of new markets, partnerships, joint ventures and services Explaining variances, risks and trends to divisional and Group management Leading annual budgets, business plans and rolling forecasts Overseeing cash forecasting and coordinating funding across entities and regions Monitoring invoicing, collections, debtors, unbilled revenue and supplier commitments Managing foreign currency exposure and cross-border funding within Group policy Ensuring correct accounting for project revenue, WIP, accruals, provisions, intercompany balances and FX Establishing financial policies, delegated authorities and internal controls Overseeing country compliance checklists and evidence of completed submissions and payments Ensuring transparent reporting to joint venture shareholders Coordinating external audits and supporting Group internal audit reviews Leading improvements to accounting systems, project costing and reporting through automation and standardisation Setting objectives and performance metrics for divisional finance teams Reviewing whether finance resources match each region's workload and complexity Overseeing country financial managers, accountants and external finance service providers What we are looking for: A recognised accounting qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Significant senior finance leadership experience in a multi-country or divisional environment Strong background in project-based accounting, including revenue recognition and WIP Experience with joint ventures, intercompany accounting and foreign exchange management Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and cash management Solid understanding of internal controls, audit processes and statutory compliance across jurisdictions Experience leading finance teams and managing outsourced providers Confident communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and JV partners Please note if you haven't heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
