Job Advert Summary

Clover is looking for a Graphic Desgner that will be responsible for designing and producing art and copy layouts for various visual communications media, including books, magazines, newspapers, electronic media and websites. This is a 12 month fixed-term contract basde at Clovcer Head Office in Roodepoort. 

Design and Production        

• Create and produce art and copy layouts for materials to be presented by visual communications media such as books, magazines, newspapers, electronic media and websites
• Prepare illustrations or rough sketches of material according to client instructions
• Prepare the final layout, ensuring all elements are correctly formatted and ready for production or publication

Project Management             

• Prioritise, track, handle, and maintain records of project elements and time schedules
• Consult with supervisors to evaluate individual project needs and ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations

Planning and Layout              

• Study illustrations, photographs, and text to plan the presentation of material, product, or service
• Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select the style and size of type, and create sample layouts
• Review final layouts and presenting to stakeholders for approval

• Degree
• Relevant experience in applying job related concepts, techniques and processes at the required level 
• Experience in Designs and produces art and copy layouts
• Business English: Fluent 
• Computer literacy (Intermediate)
