Job Responsibilities:

Coordinate transport services. Ensure availability of drivers and fleet schedules. Pre and post trip inspection of vehicles and tractors. Allocation of vehicles and tractors. Keeping fleet files and registers updated. Prepare ordering/replenishment of transport section equipments and materials. Safekeeping of transport equipments and materials. Prepare and compile different reports within transport section. Ensure compliance to National Core Standards/Ideal Hospital Standard Framework and transport policies/procedures. Perform any other official duties delegated by the supervisor.

Job Requirements:

A minimum of Grade 12/equivalent. Computer literacy with practical knowledge of MS package (Word, Excel, Power Point and Internet). Ability to inspect and manage government vehicles and tractors. Must possess the ability to plan, organize and inspect fleet. Must be able to work shift (day, night, weekends and holidays). Ability to work under pressure. Ability to achieve and maintain good interpersonal relations with staff and stakeholders.
