What is the primary purpose of your job?

• To clean floors and machines and walls in mill production on floor you are posted, make sure all chokes are picked up and help with other chokes in mill area.  Help with maintenance-on-maintenance days sieves and filter changes Safety and hygiene standards

 Good verbal and written communication skills.

•  Team player.
•  Ability to handle pressure.
•  To assist on daily cleaning of the plant (Mill).
•  To be flexible within the department.
•  To be able to work shifts.
•  Able to work flexible hours on request
•  Assist in maintenance tasks.
•  Assist in the removal of infestation and the detection there off.

What are the success measures of your job?  (How will you know if you have done it well?)

• Hygiene standards met.
• Cleaning off the mill for duration of shift
• Well motivated work force
• All trained on health and safety aspects.
• *Ensure safety standards are met, maintained and followed while on shift
• Daily Invocom/MECP and communication with shifts. Held in a structured manner.
• What are your main tasks that you do to achieve your outputs?
• Assist miller and other duties
• Proper daily communication.
• Check all mill Equipment.
• Proper inspection of all mill floors, Proper walk-through mill top to bottom.
• Ensure that mill cleaning and hygiene standards are met.
• Cleaning of the mill.
• Proper work instructions give down the line.
• Assist with Mill maintenance
• Ensure the proper cleaning out of equipment on fumigation days and maintenance days.

Minimum qualifications required by the position:

• Matric with maths
• A good and sound knowledge of mechanical side of milling machines.
• Detail orientated
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
