About this role Our client is building an in-house capability for credit applications - specifically loan origination and risk assessment processes coupled with automated fulfilment. It is a heavily integrated ecosystem built on a domain-driven architecture feeding into the existing loan management system for origination and risk assessment.The successful candidate will grow with the team as the application and tech stack mature. The philosophy is to hire people who develop alongside the product Tech Stack The front end is built on Vue.js, using Micro Front-end technology. The application is connected to a database, uses Kubernetes for containerisation Postgres SQL as the database system. Outbound services are all coded in Java - Java is a firm requirement for this role. Experience A minimum of 3 years' experience in development using Java is required. 3+ years' proven experience in front-end and back-end software development, project delivery and implementation in relevant development technologies. IT systems development processes (SDLC) Advanced algorithms and data structures Design patterns Analytical, troubleshooting and debugging skills Git \/ GitHub RESTful API design and integration via gateway Cloud computing platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure) Advanced microservice and event-driven architectures (Kafka) js using Micro Front-end technology Java back-end development Deployment using Kubernetes and containerisation Database systems and query optimisation Education (Minimum) Grade 12 National Certificate \/ Vocational Education (Ideal or Preferred) A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology Additional Information Clear criminal and credit record Should you not receive a response from us within one week of your application, your application has unfortunately not been successful.
