An intimate, luxury bush lodge in the Greater Kruger, where elephants visit the waterhole and lions are regularly seen, is seeking a well-spoken and well-presented 𝗙𝗥𝗢𝗡𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗦𝗘 to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
This is a guest-facing role for someone who can hold an easy, engaging conversation with international guests and make them feel looked after from arrival to departure. The lodge is remote, so the successful candidate must have their own transport and be comfortable with a rotational work cycle. Core Criteria: Previous experience in a front-of-house or hosting role, ideally within a lodge or high-end guest environment Experience working a rotation of three weeks on, one week off Own reliable vehicle essential, as the lodge is too remote to reach without private transport Valid driver's licence Confident conversationalist, comfortable engaging with international guests Well spoken, with excellent spoken and written English Polished, professional presentation at all times Warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable Reliable and adaptable, with the ability to work well in a small, remote team Candidate Responsibilities: Welcome and host guests, creating a relaxed and memorable experience Engage with guests throughout their stay, including at meals, the bar, and around the property Manage guest arrivals, departures, and lodge orientation Support dining and front-of-house service as required Respond to guest queries and requests promptly and professionally Liaise with guides, kitchen, and management to ensure smooth daily operations Maintain the presentation of guest and communal areas Uphold service standards and a positive guest experience Step in across the operation where needed This is a live-in position
