SUMMARY:
Supply of packing material and packing of finished product in warehouse or production areas.

POSITION INFO:
Forklift Operator Op erations R esponsible for safely operating a forklift to move, load, unload, and store materials or products within a workplace such as a warehouse, factory, or distribution centre. Job Purpose Supply of packing material and packing of finished product in warehouse. Carry out any other reasonable instruction. Ensure no stoppages to line. Key Accountabilities and Outputs Quality Ensure that finished product is not damaged by forklift Processing Offloading full pallets off the line Supply boards to be loaded on layer board machine Bring pallets and load on pallet magazine Packing finished product in warehouse Make sure machines go on charge end of shift Batteries must be checked (water levels and loose connections) before machine get used Physical check on the machine must be done and any defects must be reported Housekeeping Forklift must be kept clean at all times Charging area to be clean Multitask Must be prepared to carry out any lawful and reasonable instructions Raw Material Receiving Make sure pallets are in good order Make sure boards are in good order Check that pallets are packed properly before taking to warehouse Health, Safety, Quality & FSSC 22 000 Adhere to company health & safety policies Adhere to standards Adhere to all Food Safety Standards and report on all issues with regards to the Food Safety Management System to the Food Safety Team Qualifications and Experience Grade 12 Valid forklift license 6 months' forklift operating experience Key Qualities & Behavioural Competencies Technical skills Good forklift driving skills Proper packing of finished product Initiative and Taking Ownership:Takes on respo
