POSITION INFO:
A leading contract catering organisation providing custom-designed, nutritionally balanced menus and professional catering solutions across South Africa. Lead and manage daily food service operations at a major hospital, ensuring high standards of quality, hygiene, and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities Manage daily food service and catering operations to ensure smooth and efficient delivery. Oversee staff supervision, training, rostering, and performance management. Monitor stock control, inventory levels, and ordering processes. Ensure strict adherence to food safety, health, and hygiene standards (HACCP). Liaise closely with hospital stakeholders to maintain high service standards and client satisfaction. Requirements Completed NQF Level 6 qualification in Food Service Management. Previous experience in a similar food service management role, ideally within a hospital or healthcare environment. Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and stock control. Attributes Excellent leadership and interpersonal capabilities. Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
