Food Development Technologist
Job Description
Our client is looking for a Development Technologist based in Midrand. This opportunity focuses on developing, modifying and optimising flavour systems to meet customer requirements, market trends and application performance—delivering commercially viable, technically sound solutions.
What you’ll bring:
- A diploma or degree in Food Technology, Food Science or a related field.
- 2–5 years’ experience in flavour or seasoning product development (essential).
- A proven track record in developing flavours (non-negotiable).
- Experience in a flavour house, seasoning manufacturer or similar environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
