SUMMARY:
Our client in Belville is looking for a Fitter to join their team

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements: Grade 12 / N2 qualification. Qualified Fitter with a recognised Red Seal Trade Test. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Fitter in a maintenance environment. Minimum 2 years' experience maintaining crushing and screening plants. Minimum 2 years' experience in a quarrying, mining, or heavy industrial environment. Valid Code 08 driver's licence. Medically fit and able to work in a mining/quarry environment. HIRA, Lockout/Isolation, and MHSA Compliance Training. Basic computer literacy for maintenance reporting and documentation (Onkey). Sound knowledge of mechanical maintenance, fault finding, preventative maintenance, conveyors, crushers, screens, hydraulic systems, and plant equipment. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and maintenance documentation. Willingness to work standby duties, shutdowns, and after-hours breakdowns when required.
