FINANCIAL CONTROLLER – LARGE MANUFACTURING CONCERN – KZN NORTH COAST A substantial concern situated on the KZN North Coast is seeking a hands-on manufacturing finance professional who combines strong technical accounting expertise with a practical understanding of the complexities of production operations. Reporting directly to the MD, the successful candidate will translate financial information into practical business solutions, be comfortable engaging directly with operational teams, challenging cost drivers, improving financial visibility and taking ownership of performance across multiple business units within a Group structure. This is an opportunity for an experienced finance leader to make a tangible contribution to financial performance and operational effectiveness in a fast-paced, challenging space. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Financial Management & Reporting Manufacturing Finance & Cost Control Financial Controls & Compliance Systems & Process Improvement Leadership & Business Partnering MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS CIMA or similar PLUS a minimum of 10 years' experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory control and production variances. Experience managing financial reporting across multiple business units, entities or projects. Strong ERP systems knowledge to leverage systems for effective control and reporting. Proven track record in leading, developing and managing a finance team. Strong commercial acumen, analytical ability and advanced financial modelling and reporting skills. Experience working closely with senior management and operational teams in a complex business environment.
