FINANCIAL CONTROLLER

SUMMARY:
A national client is seeking a hands-on Financial Controller to manage the day-to-day finance function. The ideal candidate should have a BCom in Accounting/Finance, previous Financial Controller experience, strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills. The role would suit someone who is comfortable working in a small finance team, with two staff members reporting to them, and who enjoys a hands-on, operational environment. Proficiency in MS Office, a valid driver’s licence and own transport are essential.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities - must have: Manage debtors, creditors, cash flow and working capital Oversee reconciliations, journals and monthly management reporting Ensure SARS and statutory submissions are completed timeously Maintain fixed asset and insurance records Manage and support the finance team Coordinate the annual external audit Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
