Umhlanga. A leading distributor of premium alcohol brands is seeking a well-organised and detail-oriented Financial and Shipping Administrator to join their team. Previous experience in financial administration and shipping / logistics, and a sound understanding of accounts processing and import / export procedures is essential.

POSITION INFO:
The successful candidate will be responsible for a combination of financial administration, accounts processing and import / export coordination, ensuring that financial and shipping activities run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities: Process supplier and customer invoices, credit notes and payments Manage accounts payable and receivable, including reconciliations and outstanding account follow-ups Verify supplier statements, freight invoices and shipping-related costs Assist with financial reporting, costing and general accounting administration Coordinate import and export shipments, liaising with suppliers, freight forwarders and shipping agents Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including customs and clearance paperwork Monitor shipment progress, delivery schedules and resolve any related queries or delays Maintain accurate financial and shipping records Provide general administrative support and assist with ad hoc operational requirements Requirements: Matric / Grade 12 Previous experience in financial administration and shipping / logistics Sound knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliations Understanding of import / export procedures and shipping documentation Computer literate, with strong Excel skills and experience using accounting and ERP systems Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy and attention to detail Able to manage multiple responsibilities, work independently and meet deadlines Proactive, reliable and willing to get involved in all aspects of the role Apply:
