Financial Accountant - Airport Industria

POSITION INFO:
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Financial Accountant to join an established organisation within the manufacturing sector. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to play a key role in financial reporting, compliance, financial planning and the overall management of accounting operations. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field. Minimum of 2 years' relevant accounting or finance experience. SAIPA registration. Experience working with ERP systems. Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of financial reporting, tax legislation and statutory compliance. Manufacturing industry experience will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records. Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports. Manage account reconciliations, journal entries and review accounting transactions. Prepare budgets, forecasts and monthly budget-versus-actual reports. Manage weekly cash flow planning, local payment reviews and foreign payment processing. Oversee accounts payable and receivable reporting. Manage tax planning and statutory submissions, including VAT, income tax, provisional tax and annual payroll reconciliations. Coordinate audit and review processes, including SARS audits and queries. Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, legislation and statutory requirements. Manage group financial reporting and review group company financials. Implement and monitor internal financial controls. Liaise with banks, insurers, auditors, legal representatives and other external stakeholders. Assist with tender documentation and the preparation and review of asset purchase and sale agreements. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making. What's on Offer? Position: Permanent Location: Airport Industria, Cape Town Remuneration: R45000 - R68000pm ctc depending on qualifications and experience.
