SUMMARY:

POSITION INFO:
Are you a commercially minded Finance Manager who understands the numbers behind manufacturing performance? Do you have the technical expertise to oversee costing, inventory, financial reporting and controls, together with the leadership ability to support operational decision-making? Our client is looking for a hands-on, analytical and results-driven Finance Manager to take ownership of key financial processes, strengthen financial controls and help drive operational efficiency and profitability. This is an opportunity for an experienced finance professional who can go beyond reporting the numbers — someone who can interpret the figures, identify trends and variances, and translate financial information into practical recommendations that make a difference. Duties and responsibilities: ·        Financial Management & Reporting ·        Costing & Inventory Control ·        Budgeting & Financial Planning ·        Financial Controls & Compliance ·        Leadership & Business Partnering Requirements: Qualification: CA(SA), CIMA or a BCom Accounting (Honours). Manufacturing experience: At least five years’ ERP experience within a manufacturing environment. Leadership: A minimum of two years’ experience leading and developing a finance team. Technical expertise: A strong understanding of financial reporting, costing, inventory management, budgeting and financial controls. Who Will Thrive in This Role? You are a proactive and commercially astute finance professional who enjoys understanding how a business operates, not just how it reports. You take ownership, pay attention to detail and are confident engaging with stakeholders at different levels. You can balance strong financial discipline with a practical, solutions-focused mindset, and you are motivated by improving performance, strengthening controls and helping a business make better-informed decisions. If you have the manufacturing finance experience, technical expertise and leadership ability to make an impact, we want to hear from you.
