FINANCE & OFFICE ADMINSTRATOR

SUMMARY:
Wolseley Area, Western Cape Province – South Africa: Looking for an organised, practical and people-friendly administrator to be the backbone of the head office.
You'll keep the company finances, purchasing and day-to-day admin running smoothly, working closely with the Operations Manager and our external accountant.

POSITION INFO:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A bookkeeping qualification (ICB or equivalent) 3+ years' bookkeeping experience, including payroll Confidence using Sage and SARS eFiling Excellent organisation and attention to detail Someone proactive who likes finding better ways of doing things Own transport and a valid driver's licence KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO FI N A N CE Day-to-day bookkeeping in Sage, up to trial balance Supplier invoices, customer invoicing and statements, and payment runs Payroll for permanent and seasonal staff, including SARS submissions Daily shop takings reconciliations on our POS system Month-end, VAT and support for the external accountant A simple weekly cash flow forecast PUR CHA S I N G Help the company buy smarter: compare quotes, find good suppliers and negotiate better prices Run the purchase order system O FFICE & P E OPL E AD M I N Keep staff files and employment paperwork organised and up to date Support management with HR and labour matters when needed Coordinate health and safety records and staff training Keep insurance, vehicle services, licences and company compliance documents up to date ONLY short-listed candidates will be contacted.
