About the Position

Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced Field Service Technician to provide technical support, commission equipment, troubleshoot breakdowns, and ensure efficient service delivery while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Provide written feedback to clients and maintain accurate records of repairs and returns. Prepare, submit, and maintain records of warranty claims. Provide technical support to customers telephonically and on-site. Provide technical support to the internal sales team. Ensure compliance with ISO standards and requirements. Perform equipment commissioning and setup. Evaluate technical problems relating to specific applications in which equipment is used. Diagnose and attend to equipment breakdowns. Be willing and able to travel, work after hours, and provide cross-border technical support when required. Assist with spare parts stock control and warehouse management. Assist with preparing customer quotations as required. Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management. Skills and Qualifications Qualified Electrician or Technician with an N3 qualification or National Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Experience in control systems, electronics, and\/or pneumatics. A minimum of three years' experience in control systems. Computer literacy, with proficiency in MS Office applications. Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Valid driver's licence.
