F & B Manager

SUMMARY:
A luxury game lodge in the Eastern Cape is seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to oversee all food and beverage operations and ensure exceptional guest service.
The successful candidate will be hands-on, well organised and capable of maintaining high service standards while managing staff, controlling costs and ensuring a consistently excellent dining experience.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS: - Previous Food & Beverage management experience within a luxury lodge, hotel or hospitality environment - Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards - Experience managing, training and motivating staff - Excellent guest relations and communication skills - Good knowledge of stock control, ordering and cost management - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills - Ability to work under pressure and lead by example - Professional, hands-on and guest-focused - Computer literate KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversee the daily food and beverage operations - Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and service - Manage, train and supervise food and beverage staff - Coordinate service with the kitchen and other lodge departments - Monitor stock levels, ordering, wastage and cost control - Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety and service standards - Manage guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally - Oversee staff scheduling and daily operational requirements - Monitor departmental performance and identify areas for improvement - Ensure guests receive an exceptional dining and overall hospitality experience PACKAGE: - Salary: R20,000 - R22,000 per month - Live-in accommodation - Meals on duty LOCATION: Eastern Cape
