F & B Manager

SUMMARY:
Two luxury Big 5 game lodges in the Eastern Cape are seeking an experienced and hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to oversee the food and beverage operations across the properties.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining exceptional service standards, managing the F&B team and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for guests. This role requires a strong hospitality professional with excellent operational knowledge, leadership ability and a hands-on approach.

POSITION INFO:
REQUIREMENTS: - Previous Food & Beverage management experience within a luxury lodge, hotel or hospitality environment - Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations and service standards - Proven experience managing, training and supervising F&B teams - Excellent guest relations and communication skills - Good understanding of stock control, purchasing and cost management - Knowledge of menu planning, food presentation and service delivery - Strong organisational, leadership and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple operational requirements - Professional, hands-on and guest-focused - Ability to work under pressure and lead by example KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Oversee the daily food and beverage operations across the properties - Manage and supervise the F&B team, including staff training and performance - Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation and service standards - Coordinate closely with the kitchen and lodge management teams - Oversee restaurant, bar and guest dining operations - Manage stock control, purchasing, inventory and cost control - Monitor wastage and ensure efficient use of resources - Assist with menu planning and maintaining consistent service standards - Manage guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally - Ensure compliance with hygiene, health and safety standards - Manage staff scheduling and daily operational requirements - Monitor departmental performance and identify areas for improvement - Ensure guests receive an exceptional dining experience throughout their stay PACKAGE: - Salary: R20,000 - R25,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience LOCATION: Eastern Cape
