External Sales Representatives [Hunter personality - Industrial Vacuum Pumps/Blowers] Gauteng, JHB - Northern Suburbs Our client, a well-established supplier of industrial vacuum pumps and blower equipment, is seeking 2 dynamic Sales Hunters to join their growing team. This role is ideal for highly proactive sales professionals who enjoy building relationships, identifying opportunities, and growing existing customer accounts within industrial sectors - Midrand Key Responsibilities: Manage and grow a supplied customer database and leads list. Develop new business opportunities within factories, mines, hospitals, and other industrial environments. Build and maintain strong customer relationships. It will be required to climb over equipment, sericing equipment on-site - so we need hands-on technical skills Promote equipment, after-market services, spare parts, maintenance solutions, and rental equipment offerings. Identify opportunities for preventative maintenance and service contracts. Increase revenue from both existing and new customers. Conduct regular client visits and site inspections. Engage with technical personnel, engineers, maintenance managers, and decision-makers. Provide technical solutions aligned with customer requirements. Minimum Requirements: Proven external sales experience within an industrial, engineering, technical, or related environment. Strong hunting mentality with the ability to proactively identify and secure new business. Technically minded with the ability to understand and communicate technical concepts. Comfortable interacting with technical and operational stakeholders. Hands-on attitude and willingness to spend time on customer sites. Physically capable of climbing onto and around industrial equipment when conducting inspections or assessments. Calling on mines/factories/hospitals Selling equipment or selling rentals based on client's budget [Solution-based] Excellent relationship-building and customer retention skills. Self-motivated, energetic, and target-driven. Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport. Ideal Personality: Proactive and solution-oriented. Strong relationship builder. Commercially driven with a passion for sales. Confident engaging with customers at all levels. Resilient, persistent, and results-focused. Comfortable working independently and managing a territory.
