POSITION INFO:
A leading construction company is seeking an experienced Estimating Manager / Senior Estimator to take full accountability for its estimating function. We are looking for a technically strong construction professional who can lead the estimating process from initial tender review through to final submission and has extensive experience across both Government and Private Sector projects. KEY REQUIREMENTS 10-20 years' construction estimating experience - Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline - Strong Candy / CCS experience, with the ability to manage tenders from start to finish - Extensive experience with NEC and JBCC contracts - Proven exposure to both Government and Private Sector projects - Strong understanding of construction methodologies, pricing, subcontractor quotations and tender strategy - Previous experience leading an estimating function or estimating team - Strong commercial and contractual awareness - Excellent leadership, analytical and negotiation skills - Must be able to take full accountability for the estimating function THE ROLE You will take ownership of the company's estimating department and lead a team of three direct reports . This is a senior leadership position requiring someone who can operate independently, provide sound commercial input and ensure tenders are accurate, competitive and strategically positioned.
