Estate Security Manager - North Coast

An established organization in the real estate sector with a strong focus on estate safety and community well-being is seeking a seasoned Estate Security Manager to lead security initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the safety and security of estate residents, staff, and assets through strategic oversight and operational excellence. Key Functions: Source and vet security service providers to ensure high standards of safety and compliance Monitor and control the delivery of security services in accordance with SLAs Train security guards and control room staff on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Investigate security incidents and compile detailed reports for management review Manage estate security budgets and control expenditure effectively Vet credentials of staff and service providers, and support disciplinary procedures Manage and update the estate access control database Attend HOA board meetings and prepare comprehensive security reports Liaise with local emergency authorities and develop emergency response plans Monitor electric fence and CCTV systems, interpret system reports, and follow up on faults Requirements: 3 to 10 years of prior experience in a senior security role Proven ability to lead and manage security teams and service providers Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Valid South African driver’s license and own reliable vehicle Relevant security qualifications such as RPE Strong budget management skills Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities Experience in the real estate industry This is a full-time, on-site opportunity offering the chance to lead security operations within a vibrant estate community.
