Engineering Field Service Assistant

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to fill the position of Engineering Field Service Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team to provide support and assistance in conducting on-site repairs, installations, and maintenance for our clients. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, coordinating logistics for service visits, and documenting work completed.

Responsibilities:

- Assist engineers with on-site repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions
- Coordinate logistics for service visits, including scheduling appointments and arranging travel accommodations
- Document work completed and provide detailed reports to the engineering team
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and resolution of technical issues
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while on-site

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred
- Previous experience in a technical support or field service role preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
