Engineer in Training

This role is based at our Cape Town branch and reports to our Process Support Engineer. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

•  Optimise plant equipment and unit operations through performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives.
• Participate in and lead Management of Change (MOC) processes, HAZOP studies, and Root Cause Analyses (RCA).
• Provide engineering support for new projects, including process evaluations, technical investigations, and project implementation.
• Maintain and update process engineering documentation, including P&IDs and SOPs. 

Qualification: 

• Matric (Essential)
• BSc Chemical Engineering degree recently completed (Essential)
• Currently unemployed
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
