Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified, trade-tested Electrician to join our team in Mahogany Ridge, Durban. The successful candidate must be hands-on, technically competent and experienced in electrical fault-finding, maintenance and installations, with a good working knowledge of instrumentation.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities Perform electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting on equipment and electrical systems. Diagnose and repair electrical faults efficiently and safely. Carry out electrical installation work as required. Perform electrical maintenance and repairs. Work with and have a sound understanding of instrumentation systems. Conduct testing and basic commissioning of electrical equipment. Identify potential electrical issues and recommend corrective action. Ensure all electrical work is completed according to required safety standards. Work independently as well as alongside other technical personnel. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Minimum Requirements Trade-tested Electrician with a recognised electrical trade qualification. Proven hands-on electrical experience. Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge and practical understanding of instrumentation . Experience with electrical installations and maintenance. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics. Good understanding of electrical safety procedures. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Must be reliable, practical and solution-oriented.
