1.       About the position

The main purpose of this role is to perform preventive and reactive electrical maintenance across CBRE Excellerate managed facilities. The Electrician carries out PPM of SMDBs and DBs, insulation-resistance testing (meggering), electrical fault finding and repairs, and supports safe restoration of electrical services in accordance with HSE, PTW and applicable electrical requirements.

2.       Decision Making Authority

This position has the authority to:
• Carry out assigned electrical PPM and reactive maintenance within competency and authorization.
• Isolate electrical circuits/equipment and stop work when unsafe conditions are identified.
• Diagnose electrical failures and recommend corrective actions and replacement components.
• Perform electrical testing and verify safe operation before energization/handover.
• Escalate major electrical faults, protection issues and operational risks to the Technical Supervisor.

3.       Experience / Education

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering/Electrical Trade or equivalent.
• Minimum 3+ years relevant electrical maintenance experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in SMDB and DB preventive maintenance.
• Experience in insulation-resistance testing (meggering), electrical failure troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
• Facilities Management experience preferred.

4.       Skills Required

• SMDB and DB PPM
• Electrical fault finding and troubleshooting
• Insulation-resistance/megger testing
• Use of multimeter, clamp meter and electrical test instruments
• Work-order/CAFM reporting

5.       Knowledge Required

• LV distribution systems, SMDBs and DBs
• MCBs, MCCBs, RCCBs/RCBOs and protective devices
• Electrical isolation and LOTO
• Insulation-resistance testing and basic load measurements
• Preventive and reactive electrical maintenance
• PTW and HSE requirements
