Electrical Engineer for EPCM projects

POSITION INFO:
DRA Global is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its Projects team based in Woodmead. About the Role The successful candidate will focus on electrical engineering and project design across various phases, including concept, pre-feasibility, feasibility, EPCM, EPC, SIB, and optimisation projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed electrical engineering design in accordance with client specifications, industry standards, and legislation Provide electrical engineering input into studies and proposals Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and drafting teams Review design information from vendors, contractors, and consultants Support procurement activities for electrical equipment Assist with Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) Provide site engineering support during installation and commissioning Prepare engineering documentation, red-line drawings, and facilitate project handover Liaise effectively with clients and project teams Requirements: BEng or BTech degree in Electrical Engineering Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Project Electrical Engineer At least 5 years' experience in MV and LV design Hands-on experience with site installation assistance and commissioning of electrical equipment Previous experience within EPCM and\/or mining environments Strong knowledge of Safety, Health and Environmental (SHE) compliance Desirable Qualifications and Experience: Registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist GCC Mining qualification Honours or Master's degree in a relevant field Experience with ETAP and\/or DIgSILENT software Electrical protection expertise
