Driver Messenger

Requirements :

• Grade 10 qualification or 7-12 months driving experience. Valid code 8 driver’s License. Knowledge of cities in which the function will be performed.
• Knowledge and Skills Verbal and written Communications skills, Computer literacy, Interpersonal skills, Problem solving, Knowledge of procurement and Insight. Computer skills, Planning and organization and Driving skills.

Duties :

• Drive light and medium motor vehicles to transport passengers and deliver other items e.g. (mail, files, documents, parcels). Conduct routine maintenance on the allocated vehicle and report defects timely.
• Ensure vehicle licences, service schedules and safety equipment are up to date. Complete all the required and prescribed records and logbooks with regards to the vehicle and the goods handled.
• Collect and deliver documentation and related items in the department Copy, scan and fax documents. Assist in the registry.
