Job Description

At Faircape Health Institute and Faircape Life, we are committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services within our luxury retirement villages and healthcare environments. Our focus is on promoting quality of life, continuity of care, and clinical excellence through well-supported multidisciplinary teams and holistic patient care.

We are seeking a compassionate, clinically confident, and service-driven Medical Doctor – Long-Term Care & Outpatients (Half-Day) to join our team, working between Noordhoek Manor and Tokai Estate.

This half-day position focuses on providing medical care to long-term healthcare patients and outpatients, ensuring continuity of care, effective management of chronic and acute medical conditions, and ongoing support throughout their healthcare journey.

This role is ideal for a doctor who enjoys building long-term relationships with patients and their families, providing personalised medical care, and working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.

  • Maintain accurate, compliant, and up-to-date clinical documentation
  • Collaborate closely with nursing teams, allied healthcare professionals, and healthcare management
  • Support continuity of care and ensure appropriate referrals where required
  • Assist with family communication and care planning discussions when necessary

  • Ensure ethical, patient-centred, and evidence-based clinical practice

  • Experience managing chronic medical conditions and providing ongoing patient care
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary healthcare environments advantageous
  • Exposure to elderly patient care, retirement villages, or outpatient medical services would be beneficial

Skills and Attributes

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working independently within a structured healthcare environment
