Purpose of the job:
Oversee and optimize a centralized distribution supply chain structure across the corporate group.
 
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Management, Procurement Logistics, Supply chain or similar
2. 8–10 years of equivalent-level Supply Chain Management experience.
3. 3+ years in a dedicated Senior Leadership capacity.
4. Prior practical experience centralising supply chains (including Warehouse, DC, and logistics functions).
5. Demonstrated experience delivering successful Warehouse Management System (WMS) implementations.

POSITION INFO:
Technical Competencies & Experience: Supply Chain Centralisation: Spearhead the integration of a centralised supply chain, aligning warehouse, distribution centre (DC), and logistics operations with a newly deployed Warehouse Management System (WMS). System Customisation & ERP Integration: Configure the WMS to match specific business workflows and successfully bridged data flows through seamless integration with enterprise ERP systems. Data-Driven Management: Design and extract business-critical operational reports and KPIs, providing senior leadership with actionable statistics for DC performance tracking. Vendor & Cost Optimization: Structure the implementation to ensure self-sufficiency, drastically reducing reliance on expensive post-launch vendor support through robust initial training frameworks. Leadership & Professional Development: Demonstrate a strong track record of managing, mentoring, and directing cross-functional teams to elevate performance and accountability. Commercial & Financial Acumen: Balance a client-centric service delivery model with strict financial oversight to control operational costs and drive profitability. Establish operational capabilities to support the business with: Importing stock lines to maintain optimal inventory levels. Exporting goods to customers on a project-specific basis. Managing merchanting transactions and cross-border trade flows.
