SUMMARY:
DISTRIBUTION TEAM LEADER
KZN - DURBAN
Seeking a proactive and organised Distribution Team Leader to oversee daily fleet,
driver and distribution operations, ensuring efficient deliveries, service levels and cost control.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities: Manage drivers, fleet and daily delivery planning. Monitor driver performance, ETAs, routes and vehicle departures. Ensure OTIF targets and service efficiency are maintained. Manage PODs, picking slips, GRVs and delivery administration. Oversee fleet tracking, inspections, servicing and yard control. Handle delivery delays, incidents and exception reporting. Monitor overtime and distribution costs against budget. Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience: A Tertiary qualification in Logistics. Computer literacy (MS WORD, EXCEL, WINDOWS) 3-4 years Logistics experience or in a similar field 1-3 years Supervisory experience essential Valid drivers license and own transport
