Dental Therapist

SUMMARY:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Therapist to join a well-established practice in Kokstad. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative and
restorative oral healthcare services, promoting oral health education, and delivering highquality patient care in accordance with professional standards and regulations.

POSITION INFO:
Conduct oral examinations and assess patients' dental health. Diagnose and manage common oral health conditions within the scope of practice. Perform restorative procedures, including dental fillings. Carry out scaling, polishing, and preventative dental treatments. Perform extractions within the Dental Therapist scope of practice. Take and interpret dental radiographs (X-rays). Provide oral health education and preventative care advice to patients. Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans. Ensure compliance with HPCSA regulations and infection control protocols. Deliver exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive patient experience. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in dental therapy or equivalent qualification Current registration with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) Minimum 3 years' experience as a Dental Therapist Excellent communication and patient-care skills. Computer literacy and experience maintaining patient records.
