Job Purpose
- Embark on a 12-month learning journey designed to build practical experience and develop relevant skills in line with the Customs & Excise Operations Cadet Programme.
- To successfully complete the SARS Customs Cadet Learnership Programme in order to gain exposure, develop skills and knowledge, and contribute to the effective delivery of Customs & Excise operations.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualification & Experience Required
- NQF Level 4 with Mathematics and or Accounting
- 1 years' experience in an administration/ logistics/ customer service environment
- South African Citizen.
- Valid driver's licence (Code B/EB).
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and overtime where operational requirements demand.
- Willingness to be deployed nationally to Customs operational environments, including land border posts in remote areas, airports, seaports and inland operational offices.
- Willingness to undergo security screening, criminal record checks, qualification verification and integrity assessments.
- Physically fit and able to work in an operational environment.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Age criteria: 18 - 35 years to specifically attract the youth
