Documentation: Receive supplier statements and invoices, ensure that all supplier invoices adhere to Babcock requirements
(company details are correct including the vat number, Supplier vatcorrect) and have been authorised by management. Ensure invoices are processed daily and accounts are paid up to date.
Reconciliation: Compiling of weekly and monthly supplier reconciliation, ensuring all invoices are paid as per supplier statements vs invoices processed on SAP. Communicating with respective parties to resolve queries that may arise.
Payments: Update monthly forecasts, once reconciliations are approved by management payments are executed according to payments terms. Supplier recons over R100 000 and discounts suppliers are paid manually, Cash on delivery suppliers are paid weekly, supplier recons under R100 000 are paid as a payment run where payments are exported from SAP to FNB and submitted to management to be approved and released. Once payments are released the document retention folder should be well maintained by ensuring
approved recons are scanned and saved. Payment clearing for manual payments is done. Ensure correct remittances are sent to suppliers.
Goods Received Inventory: Report (GRIR) To ensure report is up todate and entries above 60 days are cleared.
Age Analysis: Report Ensure report is up to date and all entries greater than 60 days are cleared.
Supplier data maintenance Ensure banking details / limits on FNB/supplier information (name changes/bank changes) are up to date before payments are made.
Grade 12 / Matric
Tertiary Qualification in Finance will be advantageous
Minimum of 2-3 years in Creditors or Financial background
