POSITION INFO:
We're looking for a detail-oriented Creditors Clerk who can take ownership of the accounts payable function, keep supplier accounts in good standing, and ensure that every transaction adds up. Key Responsibilities : Processing supplier invoices, credit notes, and payments accurately. Reconciling supplier statements against the general ledger. Investigating and resolving invoice and payment discrepancies. Preparing supplier payment batches and ensuring payments are made on time. Managing supplier queries and maintaining strong supplier relationships. Performing creditors reconciliations and following up on outstanding items. Ensuring invoices are properly authorised and supported by relevant documentation. Maintaining accurate records and assisting with month-end procedures. Minimum Requirements : Previous experience in a Creditors Clerk or Accounts Payable role. A solid understanding of the full creditors function. Strong reconciliation and numerical skills. Good working knowledge of accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. A proactive individual who can work independently and manage high volumes of transactions.
